Walking through darkness.
Being bullied and seen through,
If only you knew.

As Rosie grows up she has troubles in school, a lot of people make fun of her and judge her because she lives with her dad and what happened to her in the past. She constantly is walking in the shadow of her dreams and fearing when it will all stop and just become reality.

Mommy where'd you go?
You were here and now you're gone.
I'm scared without you.

Going at it by myself.
And there's nowhere I can run.

How do you Expect (Free Verse)

How do you expect me to love
When it's something I've not seen
Other then family and friends
The other kind's just too mean

Some people say it's beautiful
Some people say it's kind
Some people say it's magical
Some people say it's blind

However what I know of love
Is way different then this
It's not that great and does not last
This love just does not exist

First off my parents got divorced
And moved on pretty quickly
Found someone else and then broke up
To me its all just sickly

All it does is leave you broken
I have more then one story
All of them ending in heart break
Trust me there's not much glory

I'll be glad to admit I tried
Wish I hadn't, really do
Because it only lead to tears
And some embarrassment to

So now you know my opinion
That love just does not exist
Although I know that most of you
Might just not agree to this

But because of all these stories
I just can not rise above
Cause really after all of this....

Rosie faces a tough divorce between her parents, at a very young age. She's forced into the decision of the lawyer to stay with her father, and has to deal with the fear of never seeing her mother again.
